VNode Technology

What is a vNode ? a vNode is a low cost connectable device which fit in an existing network composed of different sensors, actuators… communicating with proprietary field buses. The Vnode is acquiring data from those equipment and send it to a remote location. Thanks to the grid model of the DotVision framework, the vNodes are linked together and create a M2M mesh network enabling the transportation of data from one Vnode to another feeding any application center.

The data gathered by the Vnode are finally used to deliver targeted content to the end user through a web portal.
